The tapestry-themed caption refers to a video that Queen Rania also shared on her social media profile, which showed the process behind the making of her festive greeting cards this year.

The footage shows the Queen of Jordan working with artisans from across the middle-eastern nation to work embroidery into the cards.

She described the clip to her following: ‘Our greeting cards this year carry different embroidery patterns from our traditional thobes.

‘Individually, each presents a part of our diverse cultural heritage, but combined they create the rich and resilient tapestry that is Jordan

‘Over the past few months, we worked with a group of talented artisans from around Jordan who channeled their passion and patriotism into each piece of embroidery – grateful to each one of you!’
