Gladys Berejiklian, 51, was seen coming out from her electorate office in Sydney’s Northbridge six days after she announced her resignation.
The former Premier made her way into the building in designer attire. Dressed in a black shift dress, and a cropped tartan blazer. She carried a $3000 Louis Vuitton handbag and she was in a pair of Ferragamo Mirabel wedge pumps which costs $860.
Gladys Berejiklian resigned as Premier on Friday amid allegations she breached public’s trust at the time of her secret five-year relationship with ex MP Daryl Maguire.
She has also declared she will leave state parliament altogether once a by-election for her seat is held.
There’s also speculation that she could run for federal politics once the investigation is concluded by NSW Independent Commission Against Corruption
Her successor Dominic Perrottet, 39, has updated his profile within a few hours of becoming Premier, but Glady’s account status has not yet changed.
After Glady’s resignation, her Willoughby office and home had lots of flowers and supportive messages left by fans over the weekend, and also a petition with over 75,0000 signatures was launched to keep her as premier.
Perrottet defeated Rob Stokes 39-5 on Tuesday morning in a party room ballot as he became NSW’s youngest premier and has Stuart Ayres as his deputy. The father of six has vowed to prioritise the plight of working families around NSW.
