Lisa Wilkinson has been spending her week travelling the country as part of the Today show’s tour around Australia.

But she made sure to clock up the air miles so as not to not miss her daughter Billi’s Year 12 formal Thursday night.

Sharing a snap of herself with her lookalike daughter, the proud mum doted on Instagram: ‘Off to her Year 12 formal. So proud…and stunned at how quickly the years have passed.’

A proud mum:

On Thursday Lisa Wilkinson posed proudly with lookalike daughter Billi on the night of her year 12 formal

‘Crazy day. Bryon this morning and then back home in time to see my smart, funny, kind, sharp-as-a-whip, beautiful daughter,’ Wilkinson explained.

Many followers noted their similar features – the mother and daughter duo have matching cheekbones and jawlines, not to mention their brunette hair.

‘Gorgeous…she looks just like you,’ one wrote, with another commenter adding ‘Wow Lisa she is a chip off the ol block..beautiful.’

Lisa shares Billi with media personality and partner of 22 years Peter FitzSimons, and they also have two sons in Jake and Louis.

Bonding time:

The duo were seen enjoying a dip in the water earlier during a family trip to Byron Bay

At the start of this year, she and Billi were seen enjoying some quality time together with a trip to Byron Bay.

Wilkinson has actively posted on her Instagram pictures from old family photo albums, including one to mark the children’s birthdays, uploaded last year.

In the shot from years ago, Billi is being held by her mum, who is sitting next to FtzSimons, and their two boys pose over their shoulders.

Another shot shows Lisa with Billi.

For Today, Wilkinson has been at locations including the Barossa Valley, Byron Bay and Kakadu for We Love Australia Week.

Wilkinson has kissed a cane toad on the road in Port Douglas and also raced on an esky.

Yesterday she uploaded a shot of herself to Instagram on an esky.

‘You know you’re living in a great country when a sport like esky-racing exists. Too much fun! ‘Straya mate,’ part of her post read.
